Once I was attacked by an extremely angry rooster. He charged me and flew at my head pecking and flapping. I grabbed a metal garbage can lid and held it in front of my face like a shield. The rooster bounced off, I dropped the lid and ran for my life while it was picking itself up. True story. My friend advised me to invest in a good flame thrower, or at least pepper spray.

LOL, you got to watch those butterflies. I had a rooster come up behind me when I was little and peck me in the back of the knee. That hurt too. Other than that I don't ever remember any animal purposely hurting me.
Does a mosquito count? I'm afraid of animals and don't go anywhere near them, although I hav dreamed of fighting dogs and alligators.

a dog bit my face when i was three. a llama tried to attack me when i was seven. my boyfriend's mother is a zoo foreman and she was mauled by a pronghorn! she lived, by the way.
A couple of dogs. Also, a gaggle of geese who objected to my walking around a small pond. They kept pecking at my pants and shoes, eventually untying my shoe laces. It was funny as hell. They refused to leave me alone.

Yeah, I did too ... I was walking through the local nature trails, when a pack of rabid frogs jumped me. I barely made it out alive, and I'm scarred for life!! *sob* :(
