Have you ever heard of a 20-year old 9th grader?!
Question: I was in Jr. High with a girl 20 yrs. old, in the 9th grade. (Our middle school was 7-9th grade @ the time, but now 6-8 like other schools). Now, I'm 24. I was 14, in the 9th grade (my right grade level). I'm not trying to make fun of or bash anybody. I'm just giving you a little history.
Well, my friend said she has never heard of anyone who's been MORE THAN 2 yrs. behind his/her proper grade level. She's amazed when I talk about people who used to bully me in Jr. High who were like 15 in the 7th, 17 in the 8th, 20 in the 9th in stuff like that. My friend, herself, was so smart that she was 15 in the 12th grade. As I said earlier, I'm 24. & my friend is 29. Yes, 5-yr. age difference. We met when I was an undergrad & she was a grad student in college (University).

No I haven't. Where I went to school they didn't allow you to be 2 years past your grade level.

Nah, I've never heard of that! That's very interesting! I wonder what happened with that person! Maybe they had family troubles or maybe that person was just plain rebellious!
