Is five years a big age gap?!

Question: it doesn't sound like a big age gap, but it depends on the two ages. 15 and 20, yes thats a big age gap. 35 and 40, not so big. i think it has to do with different "age-stages"

10 to 15 yes, 15 to 20 yes, 20 to 25 no and after that no.

depends. if you 18 and they are 13 and your dating YEAH! thats sick. If you over and the other person is over 18 its all good. who cares. but watch out for jail time! you dont want or need that. if thats what your talking about their are other people your own age out there

Not at first...but it can become an issue down the road. My ex was 12 years younger than me. It was great at first, but 10 years down the road it really started to show up in the things we wanted out of life after a while. I became too settled for him, and he became too unstable for me when he hit his "mid-life crisis" years.

No, as long as both parties are adults, I do not think that five years is a big age gap.

I agree with the first person to answer. If you are in your teens YES but if you are BOTH over 20+ it isn't really a big deal. So many different things change in the years between 15 to 20.

it depends on what 5 years you're talking about....

Depends on both your ages.

once you reach the age of 20 I dont think it is

Once five years is less than a quarter of both your ages (i.e. at least 20 yo) then it is pretty much just a number. At any age less than that, it's probably considered cradle robbing.
