Go with something plain for the walls, maybe white or black. Then use paint colors that match on the walls, like paint splatter's or certain shapes. Be artistic. Then throw around some fuzzy pillows and rugs (unless you have carpet). Make sure you buy your bed comforter first so you know what colors you have to work with.

when i was a teen i wanted to have a black wall and get some coloured paint and splatter it all ofer the wall. =]

maybe get a foof, or like, convert one of your walls into a chalkboard that u and ur friends can doodle on. maybe get some stuffed animals.

mine has posters of my favorite bands everywhere...like A7X! I have my drawings on my walls too....its all orange since i love orange...my bed stuff
my room is a beach theme.... pictures of palm trees and beach scenes..... i have orchids and those hawaiian lais necklace things....i have a rug with palm trees....i have a wind chime with silver starfish ( not real lol) I have sea shells on my dresser as decoration....lighthouses, etc.... you could try that... i also have a bumper sticker on my closet door that says "i'd rather be at the beach" i love it!!
DID A ROOM WITH EGG SHELLS FILLED WITH DIFFERENT COLORED PAINTS. PUT THEM INTO A 2 DOZEN EGGS CRATE AND PICKED RANDOMLY WITH FRIENDS AND EGG AND THREW IT AT THE WALL. WEIRD COLOR SCHEME NO TWO WALLS ARE THE SAME.
OH PUT PLASTIC OVER CARPET BEFORE ATTEMPTING THIS ACT.
Do like a Louis and Channel themed room! One wall with the Louis logo and get a stencil to do it in all the different colors. That would be hot... lol.
a japanese theme
a lot of paint stores have touch computer screens where you can go through and see different ideas. You can pick the colors and accessories and get a lot of great ideas. Also go through those big books of wallpaper to get some theme ideas. Think of 2 different colors that you like and that would go together and pain each wall a different color. Easy do it yourself borders offer endless opportunities as well.
well, i did my room with a white canopy over my bed, a beaded curtain over my closest (purple and pink sqaures, makes my small room feel bigger) three walls magenta, main wall light lavender/pink. i have a hot pink mushroom chair (supersoft) and a ping shag rug. it may all seem pink and girly, but against the tile and window, it looks really cool. i didnt use that cheap little girl stuff, i bought the real thing (example.. the canopy, curtain, chair, rug) just do whatever you like!!
