An FM transmitter works fine if you are traveling around town. But on trips you keep having to find a new dead station to tune to. The best bet is a stereo or car that has an audio in port. (AUX port) so you get uninterrupted service all the time. Another good option if you have a tape deck in your car is to buy an adapter for it. it looks like a cassette tape with a cord...the tape goes in the tape deck and the cord goes to the ipod. this is also an uninterrupted source.

ipod
fm

iPod is the best out there. I think that everyone should have one.

I just bought a Zune for my wife and it is really cool. They have refurbed ones at buy.com for $100.

IPODD<3

i think the line in in some of cars are better

ipod, i tunes is dead easy to use too

iPod just make sure u dnt stuff it up

I have an MP3 player and I like it better then ipods as for the other thing, sorry I have no idea.

i would think mp3 because u can put more stuff on it

ipod

transmitter

i say the transmitter merely because i have experience with it. the majority of the ones i've seen are compact and "trendy" if you will and shouldn't be too much of a burden.

probably a fm transmitter because it will be better to transmit with plus i think they are better for your i pods

I believe this is the wrong category but to answer your question, I would go with the iPod.

Hey, my advice is the FM transmitter, for a couple of reasons:

1. You can use it for any radio, whether it is in your car or not

2. It works just as well as the modulator, but it is simpler (except for sometimes, another station may "take over", but you can just move it closer to the radio)

3. Works in any car (with radio)

4. Usually cheaper

5. Doesn't drain car battery, but leeches off iPod

Hope it helps, and good luck!

I think that an mp3 player would be better because they are less expensive than ipods but they work the same and some mp3 players are look almost the same as an ipod they look pretty cool and some have touch screens!!

Good Luck

iPod!

My guess is you're actually asking about the transmitter vs. the modulator...

I'm not an expert, but I would pick the modulator, because I tihnk the transmitter plays it on the radio itself, not plugged in through the car, and I have friends who have had problems with a shaky connection that way, but my aunt has one that plugs in, and that seems to work best...

I'm sorry if I have my facts totally wrong, but I hope I helped anyway...

Best of Luck! =]

well if u wantone for ur car get the ipod and buy a thing called 1-travel it plays all ur music on ur ipod to ur radio. all u have to do is put the i-travel into ur ipod and go to the radio station it tells you to go in the directions. its really cool

actually my friend has an ipod and it dooes not stay charged and i have a samsung and it works a whole lot better so you would want that and its a whole lot less expensive
