yes, it involves body mechanics if the person is bed bound if they arent bed bound it is like changing the diaper of a toddler.

yes i care for a 86 yr old woman they changed us a children why wouldn't we care for them a nasty job but heck bet yr s-------- stunk as a child too we'll all be old someday and might need it

No. But I work in a daycare and change them sometimes, does that count at all? But, I disagree with all these people. It's NOT the same as changing a baby. Unless of course, you have a baby with some heavy wrinkles.
