Why does the OxyClean guy always have to shout??!

Question: I 'think' we can here him okay :]

Answers: I 'think' we can here him okay :]

LMAO....THE POWER OF OXYCLEAN!

I remember a few years ago the first time I saw that commercial was before I was going to take a flight, and I was like wtf and was laughing histerically. I was so delirious.

i was thinking that too

I just saw him on tv...He is a jackass for sure.

He's making it so you will never forget his advertizement so whenever you ever want to get stains out you remember to buy oxy clean

so he can make my ears bleed.
i hear ya

"AND THE STAIN IS GONE BEFORE YOUR EYES!!!!!"

To make sure and get your attention. And I'm guessing it worked! LOL

I work at an insurance company and we have him insured!! He does yell a lot!!

Because if you haven't bought Oyxclean then you are obviously not listening

Yeah i think "SHOUT" works better.

because the base chemical of Oxyclean is hydrochloric acid and it ate away his hearing aid.

hes a retard

Billy Mays, he is so annoying. He's doing all kinds of commercials now. And in the middle of the night he's even louder. I guess he gets paid to shout. He should do a commercial for Shout. lol.

cuz he got a stick up his asss

he's trying to prove how powerful his product is and believes if he has a "strong" voice then you will believe the product too is strong.

He's excited.

Because he is annoying.
Actually it is suppose to be a selling ploy, he has to act like he is excited about this great product and convience people that they can't live without it.

WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! I NEVER NOTICE THAT! HE NEVER SEEMS TO SHOUT TO ME! AAAH!

he is selling the sizzle , not the steak........ an old salesman's trick.

because it creates suspense and makes you remember him

hey it works for him he makes bank off all of those commercials

That guy sells several things on TV and he shouts in everyone of those commercials. He reminds me of those guys that use to advertise for mobile homes. Shouting like we can't hear.

His voice annoys me, and its not just because he shouts.

I KNOW!!!!!!!
IT IS SOOO ANNOYING!!!!!!!!!!
HE EVEN HAS THAT NATURALLY LOUD KIND OF VOICE YET YELLS AND ADDS POWER TO IT!!!!!
I TURN THE TV OFF OR CHANGE THE CHANNEL WHEN THE COMMERCIAL COMES ON!!!!!

Good question. My guess is that over time he has become a little bit deaf due to the fumes from the nasty chemicals he promotes, so he thinks that his shouting is actually talking at a normal volume.

Either that or it's some weird slight on the brand 'Shout!'...hmmm....guess we'll never really know.

I am sure the advertising company is glad to know he is getting your attention...yes he does and yes we can hear him, their mission is complete. That certainly doesn't mean we aren't annoyed!!! There are a couple of commercials that I won't buy the product simply because I can't stand the commercial...and this one is close but I still use the product.

He does it to get consumers' attention. It'll ring violently in your head the next time you see it on your grocers shelf, so much that you'll HAVE to buy it. It's an advertising technique

because he really like the sound of his own voice so he has to shout just to hear himself, and feel like a bigger man or somthing, he should really just clone himself and........................................ seeing as how he seems to just love himself so much.

I know! Maybe people would buy it if he wouldn't act like a grenade went off 5 ft. from his ear.

i was thinking the same thing, i think it angers him when people don't buy his product!

That guy is so annoying!
He's on a few other commercials as well. Check out his puddy one. So obnoxious!

LMAO Billy Mayes xD I hate it so badly he has like 10 products and won't shut up for any of them >_<

idk
i've always wondered that 2.
i]'ve seen him shout on other commercials.
Maybe he's excited that he's getting paid 4 making the commercials.
