Nah, I have no credit history, I get paid cash in hand so my bank sees very little action. I don't think I'd even notice if someone stole my identity!
I hope once they stole my identity, the creditors would start harassing them instead of me.
i never thought of that, so if my id is stolen i should get big debt and blame the thief?

I wish someoe would then I would have an excuse for my ridiculously low credit rating. Last week someone broke into my car and my checkbook was in the glove box (stupid) they looked at it must have known me and left it there. hahaha
i have a pretty good credit rating, but i used to laugh at the idea a few years ago when everything was maxed out.
i could picture someone trying to use a credit card and being denied because it was over the limit.
Yeppers considering my credit card has a limit of $250 dollars and there is probably only $50 available I'm sure they would have a hell of a good time spending $50 and receiving screw you letters if they apply for any other cards.
Its only a serious crime if you have credit to steal. They'd be sorely upset if they stole my identity.

not silly, but maybe so true.. i know my credit is so bad that i couldn't even open a bank acct. my drivers lic. says invalid when using it in another state.. but it isn't ... i said say listen, i'm not here 2 rob the bank, but 2 put money in .. i went 2 try and get ins. 4 my van and was told because my credit is soo bad, that it will cost me 400 dollars more a year.. now that i didn't understand because Hartford ins. sent me a quote of 493 a year and when i called 2 say okay, they said what is your social security number.. then the price jumped 400 more.. i said forget it.. but Hartford didn't want 2 forget it and said they would send me another quote and when they did, it was then i was able 2 see how they sneak in the price jump, in medical, property damage and something else.. now i sit and wonder if thats legal.. bummer but true ~
I have impecable credit now... but I'd trade it to have incredible pecs again.
No joke here honestly! I have such awful credit that when people tried to steel my number and try to use it in Canada they were laughed at! Seriously! I have the bank letter to prove it!
Also that was the second time my debit card number was stolen and it was by employees from DISH NETWORK both times! Again NO LIE!
