Are yall going to run away or something? You could get on one of those trains that dont have anything in it or hitchhike. 5000 dollars would last long but yall should look for a single person to stay with and help pay rent

You probably wouldnt last that long. I dont even think that you could rent an apartment for that much. I mean you might could pay for a deposit but thats about it. ANd for how you could get there. Go down to the local Greyhound department and get a ticket. It shouldnt be more than 50 dollars for a one way ticket
take a bus,or you could advertise to drive someone to New York in their car, sometimes people want to go somewhere but dont want to drive, are you going to get a job? do you know anybody you can stay with? if not, your money will not last very long,

I can't answer the first question but you might want to look into youth hostels. But research them well because some of them are dangerous.
Have you considered taking a bus or train there? The bus is pretty cheap but you have to keep track of your stuff all the time or it will get stolen.
I don't know. They could go on bus. All the way. And hitch hike (which is not very safe). They could rent a cheap place for a while. But I don't know how long they could last though. It depends how much they spend each day and where they're staying. lol why
I'm from Dallas. I went to NYC a couple months ago. I flew to Virginia, though. Then rented a car and drove from Virginia to NYC all by myself..........and virtually didn't spend THAT much. You just can't stay in a hotel downtown, although it's hard to find a hotel outside of NYC (if that's where you're going) that's not already booked so make reservations accordingly. I'd say you can last a looooong time if you plan it just right. Take AMTRK train.

about 30 seconds- dangerous town, and 2 teenagers alone and inexperienced-will be perfect targets for pick pockets, thieves, abductors, you name it!! Stay home...and be safe!!
Besides going in a bus or if you can find a train or someone that's going that way will be the only other options because hichiking is too dangerous for a couple of teenagers to do. AND 5000 will not last you very long especially if you keep [ulling out lots of money in front of people. Best thing to do is just saty home and wehn your old enough you can do anything you want and also you will ahve more money. Just save, save, saave
