Do your parents listen to lame music?!
Question: My mother listens to all of the same music as me, and even newer stuff that I don't listen to.
My father listens to ONLY music from the 1960s, which is still okay.

I know that this question is for the younger crowd but I wanted just to say something.
I was telling my niece the other day that the music that is being made today is music that has just be refurbished from back when I was a teenager and believe me that was not too long ago. Actually if you really look at it music really has just been redone over every generation to suit the listeners.

The teenagers listen to stuff written in the last 12 months. In fact, they think ALL the good music was written in the last 12 months. How lame is that?
no offense to younger crowd <teen crowd> but I don't think parents listen to lame music. my relatives listen to italian music, some classical, I do listen to rock 60-80's goth trance classical i don't think they listen to lame music it their taste.
teen listen to music that will be gone in 1-3 years, but classical music or classical still stand for 20-40 years :)
We listen to the same music as our son and daughter with a few small exceptions. A few songs are just each other's taste like 2 or 3 country for them, some jazz and rock too, but for the majority we all share cd's and mp3.
