My hubby gets gas at the 1/4 tank mark, we live in an UBER small town that isn't 12 miles in any direction....no biggie LOL!!!

Usually yes, in the winter months. They (whomever they are) say your gas line can freeze if you don't keep your tank full- "they " never explain how that could happen seeing as all vehicles now have electric fuel pumps in the gas tanks.

My gas supply is on a demand mode, when I need it, it is there! It runs my Stove, Furnace, and Water heater.

i rarely let it get to the halfway mark. i learned my lesson when we had that blackout for 3 days several years ago. gas stations couldn't pump gas.
in cold weather i fill up at the halfway mark. if it's warmer out i might let it get just under. not usually, though.
