Question: A small town about 35 minutes away from my city had an explosion tonight and all the lights in the town went out. I'd be so scared! What a way to spend your New Years eh? But our New Year is still an hour away! =] x

You make the best of it......after all New Year's is right around the corner, can't get worse (we hope) it can only get better. Losing power is no big deal, people lived without it for centuries. I would be more scared of the looting and crazy things people think they can do and get away with......that would worry me!! Not so much if you are surrounded by loved ones.....No one could get in here if the lights were out or not.....just try to get past my bf and our 2 dogs.....well, one is a puppy, but she is getting a big bark on her.....scares the h*ll out of our kitties!!!! LOL!! Anyway......you get my drift!! Take care, be safe!!
Light candles.
i would get my phone out and then find a flash light, some candels and a lighter
