One star is typically enough to draw the attention of my contacts! If it's a really interesting question, or it has braod appeal, I would think more people would star it to share with their contacts -- so in essence, by my starring it you may get more than one star (from the people that follow behind to star it & perhaps even answer it as well).

Yes I would because some questions are very good. I would also give more thumbs up if I could. I wish they had a place where you could thumbs down the question too cuz some are so stupid, rude and degrading they should be given thumbs down.
