here's the background story. we met in september because we live in the same dorm in uni and we have the same major. we are friends now. we watch videos (and share a blanket when we do) and go out to dinner sometimes. we've been apart for a bit because of christmas break, but we talk on msn and over msn he told me that he thinks i'm smart. he also told me a secret that he's only told one other person and he said "i can't wait to see you again". oh, also, the girl with him in the picture is not his girlfriend.

After seeing both your pics together, I'd say you 2 look quite well together. You asked if he likes you, I think you answered it in the statement that says" he can't wait to see you again".
You know the part of hanging out with someone is you get to know them like you know yourself. I don't know your personalities that well but from what you asked it seems there's chemistry between the 2 of you.
Sometimes a friendship can turn into more deeps on the 2 people involved! That's a call only you 2 can make. I will tell you from personal experiences that if two friends of the opposite sex become closer, it's cos they were friends first. I know this to be true cause I married a friend of mine after just hanging out with her. We have together now for 22 yrs and have been married for 20 yrs. We have 2 wonderful sons. Looking at the 2 of you doesn't really make any sense as far as you being a couple- if you like each other and get on well, bring out the best in each other, laugh- then you would be a good couple...oh also, try asking him that question instead of all of us. If its a superficial answer you want then yeah, you both look nice...but from the story you gave, then you need to talk to him because it sounds like he likes you, but then again my best male mate and I talk for ages like that on msn etc and I know stuff he hasnt told anyone else - and this was something he told me after we had known each other for about three months - he just trusted me enough. Talk to him, not us!! We havent seen you two together, so we dont know what the chemistry between you pair is like.....and men are weird!!!
