Are "things" important to you?!

Question: There are a few things that are important, but most everything else does not matter.

As a Treasure Hunter I am often asked to look at a coin , bullet, or button that was recently recovered from the ground and am asked what I think it is worth. I refer people to reference books to see what the 'Catalog' says the item is worth. Most of the time they are disappointed that it's value is so low. When I see this disappointed look I ask them one question: Do you own the item you are holding? Most of the time I get the simple answer of 'yes, I found it now it is mine!' I then have to ask them what they are going to do with it after they have died. Are you going to take it with you when you die? Most now look at me as if I am stupid by not realizing that when you die you leave all your worldly possessions behind. This is where I inform them of the obvious In this would you own nothing, you are merely the care taker of what ever you have until such time that you decide to give away, sell, throw away the item in your possession.

Some are. Mostly, not.

Some "things" are important. =)

Material "things"? I suppose it depends.....but I think most material "things" are less important to me than they used to be.
