here's the background story. we met in september because we live in the same dorm in uni and we have the same major. we are friends now. we watch videos (and share a blanket when we do) and go out to dinner sometimes. we've been apart for a bit because of christmas break, but we talk on msn and over msn he told me that he thinks i'm smart. he also told me a secret that he's only told one other person and he said "i can't wait to see you again".

Yes, you two would make a cute couple. You know him more than we do, so if you say you two make a good couple, then let it be. You two sound like good friends. For now, keep up the friendship.
If you feel like the feelings aren't enough, take it up to the next level. Just make sure he feels comfortable with it as well.
