What could you do today to make someone feel better?!

Question: Hello:

Really all you have to do is make a gesture that they will think of as thoughtful. Drop by with some cookies and say "hey you look down. I am here to talk if you want to, or at the least these cookies will give you a sweet sugar buzz". That will let them know you are willing to reach out and it will probably get a smile out of them.

I hope this helps

PS I recommend chocolate chip.

PPS...btw I am a little down...and I have all this milk here...

be nice.

I can hold the door open for an elderly lady.

give them a hug

Give cozy hugs

I met a lady last Saturday who has very low self-esteem and thinks other people don't like her. I am going over to her house for lunch today. I think it will make both of us feel better.

Tell them how much they mean to me!!

As soon as the lady gets here to pick it up, I'll be donating a bed and a whole bunch of other stuff

say something flattering, but thoughtful and specific, about their appearance or behavior.

What can someone do to make me feel better? : (
I am having a horrible day...I don't think I can help anyone when I feel this way.

Smile, wish them a great day and give them a big ((((Hug)))

Sweetie

Smile and speak kindly.

Give a compliment about something they do, not how they look. Or better yet tell them about a compliment you heard someone else give them.

well something I always wanted to do is go out on the streets of New York, where the homeless people are, and visit them, and then give them a little something that would help them. probably money, or clothes, or something like that.

Spend some time with someone who would otherwise be lonely.

It depends, after punching someone, then make amends by saying sorry, giving compensation, and trying to fix the harm done. But if you just want do something just "because," there are numerous "gifts" you can offer, such as doing their laundry, going to the store for them, washing dishes, or making or buying a card...flowers, fruit basket,...

just being there for someone is good enough i think

Got a co-worker or family member who has lost weight recently? Tell them they look good. It's appreciated.

The thing I'm doing today to make someone feel better is working from home. Were I at the office, I'd be smacking somebody right now.
