Your question does not make sense. The iPod does not have anything to do with writing off debt of third world countries. This is the dumbest question I have ever seen.

That is a good question, and unfortunately I don't have an answer -- sorry -- but I have been to Britan recently and I have noticed that the larger iPod -- 30-80 Gigs -- is rare, since it is so expensive.
The few persons who own an ipod have the shuffle or smaller. Since it is such a great difference in ratio for those who own an iPod to those who don't in Britan I doubt that any money obtained from those sales wouldn't do much a difference in certain countries, depending on the currence -- if you are speaking of the European contanent, where the Euro is of higher value than the pound, --roughly twice the value -- or even American colonies, where the US dollar is half the value of pound ! --
Why would Apple pay off the debt of a third world country? Our country is not responsible for those third world countries. Also, they really don't want our help. I was in Sumatra when they were hit by a tsunami and they told us to leave. But they were more then willing to take our food. Seriously, i think you might want to do a little research before asking such an ignorant question.
