I don't do this often enough so here's one more of my writings...Rate it!
Question: These days it's so odd to be me
I always show faces of me
that no one desires to see
the part of us, real; drowning lonely
that's the way I am for for now
the star that shines bright, aloud
unless somehow you distance yourself
for this boy has tricks not shown yet
he can sing he can sing
he'll hum a tune, quickly undone
far from anyone
old school to a tee
it's in his writing, it bleeds it bleeds
plug in a system. see?
*A*: Alone in the face of a tv screen
*D*: Daring to be unexpected of me
*D*: Dreaming the dream only we can dream
upset so easily dreaming, fathoming
the life that can't quite be
within a graceful dreamer's reach, indeed
maybe in my marvelous day
groveling in all my glorious weight
i'll gain a retrospect of life
looking back on all the s*** i write

It has some outstanding lines, they make me feel Topsy Turvy, three different subjects going at one time. If you were trying to give us the feeling you're writting from a A*D*D* perspective than BRAVO! I could see three new poems built with some of those lines.
