You're probably better off asking in the science section.
DDT is some kind of chemical fertilizer(I think), that was found to be especially dangerous and harmful. It was banned a while ago. A lobotomy is when they remove a portion of your brain. From the frontal lobe, I think. Used to do it on mental patients alot. Don't know if it's still widely used.
