Around here, Santa leaves expensive presents in the projects that he just removed from the affluent suburbs.

because the poor people lose hope in life and recievin sometimes all you hav to do is believe and convince other to believe.... also spread joy and give to others
Because he's dependent on the parent's to do his gift selection and some parents can't afford the more expensive gifts. But there are a lot of his helpers struggling to get toys to even the poorest children at this time of year. Wish people could make every season as hopeful as Christmas.
No one is poor if they have love in their hearts.
And it is more blessed to give then receive.
