a colorblind person can still see so why couldnt they drive?
i dont think so as they will not be able to see the traffic signals and therefore it will cause a lot of problems

Yes, they can drive. They would have to prove in testing, they can understand which traffic light is on based on it's location and read parking signs to determine places that they can legally park.
Yes.. alot of colorblind people can still see some colors they just might be a different shade. Like i had a teacher who was colorblind and green looked like yellow to him. Just because your colorblind doesn't mean everything is black and white.
There weren't any color test on my driving test.
I find it hysterical when people come here and say "I don't think so because..." when this question is not a matter of opinion. Colorblind people can drive and that's it. It's a fact. There is no personal opinion involved. It's like asking "Is a dog allowed be a lawyer? and of course the ONLY answer is no because it's a yes or no question and since it is against the law, the only answer is "No" and that's that! But then someone will always come here and answer "Well I think yes they can, cuz dogs are really smart and might do a good job" and that just cracks me up. LOL
Yes, that's why when you take your drivers test you have to know and recognize the shapes of all traffic signs and know the position of the traffic lights.
