I'd remake Cleopatra, the one starring Leonor Varela. because it could've been a nice film as it's based on a good book.

yes, a lot of parts. the kingdoms, caesar rooms, etc..

no, because it's historical, I shouldn't change the era :)
d) Would you change the ending
no, because I think it's wrong to change the ending of somebody's movie. and, again, it's historical, so I can't change the ending :D
