Question: How come so menny points get knocked of your "account" when you ask a question?
I am 14 and i think yahoo should be encouraging people to ask questions, Insted of knocking off so menny points. What do you think?

I like the system, and I think that many people ask questions despite the minus points. I took a look at your account, and noticed that you were at Level 2. I had the same thoughts when I was at Level 2. I concentrated on building my account by answering questions. Now that I have more points, I ask more questions.
Another trick is to vote. Just vote 5 times on unresolved questions, and you earn 5 points. Don't forget to resolve your own questions because, as someone else pointed out, you'll get 3 points back!

Yes, what they do seems wrong!
They have to in fact award points for asking the questions and for the question which receives a big amount of replies must also be awarded points in a graded system!

i totally agree with you. when you choose a best answer they only give you 3 points. so your still short 2 points!! if no one asked questions you wouldnt get points for answering them..
