now that i think of it, she was struggling with her obesity, but anyway....
It happened to me when I was running for presidentship of the local municipality and I was sure to win.
But my campaign was clonked even before it started by revelations in the local papers and wall papers the town over that my own daughter supported my opponent and that too openly.As if that was not enough my son said he won't campaign for me-his dad.
That I won subsequently did not in any way diminish the impact of the moment;Nor even the knowledge gained subsequently that even the Presidential candidate for USA had to undergo an identical igominy.
