Have you ever sifted through the ashes of a deceased loved one?!

Question: I know someone who has apparently done that.

Answers: I know someone who has apparently done that.

No but we did open a canister and look at the small chunks of bone or whatever. It was quite eerie. In the silence I blurted out Hey Bernie! (The deceased), then we laughed and put the top back on. We were quite happy to bury the ashes and put it behind us.

well then they are creepy

nooo that would weird me out

I think more people have done it than will admit to doing it.

KIETH RICHARDS DID NOT SNORT HIS DADS ASHES!

ew! no that's sick

nope nobody who has died in my family has been cremated..... only buried

No, there's nothing to look for.

no, that's pretty sad. i just picked up the cremated remains of my little cat. i'm glad she's home for christmas... sniff, tears...

Yes, my ants and snail got out of their environment and I looked everywhere, including the urn. After all that I found out that my ants were all hiding under the snail trail. =)

No but i took the lid of to release the spirit...

not sifted ,but divided.when my mother in law died,we gave each one of the grandchildren a "mini urn "of ashes to remember their grandmother by.

Yes, but I plucked my children's eyes out first, so they wouldn't have a bad memory. Ghoul.

No, but I wonder what has inspired this question.

Well they are just plain out sick!!!

No, but I saw this weird Japanese porno where the widow opened up her husband's ashes and proceeded to, well you know...

No, and I hope to not have to. BUT if things get much worse, I may have to see if Great-grandfather's gold fillings survived the cremation. UGH!
