I'm close with my immediate family. The rest...well, let's just say that they're not our biggest fans right now.

although we are as close as a family who's mother left them and went to live with her boyfriend but is still married to her children's father who is at home raising the kids............retired and with a kidney problem........

Very close with my family, and we enjoy ALL holidays together.
I think I am close enough to my family. I wish they would want to talk to me more though. I don't believe that I ever gave them a reason not to be closer to me.
