Yes, as a matter of fact, I HAVE asked what I thought was an obviously silly question and gotten serious answers...
Yesterday I asked for suggestions on how to preserve my collection of rare snowflakes and some of the answers just killed me...
All the time Friend-all the time- It's so comical-I sat back yesterday until my sides hurt reading these serious answers to these totally Loony bin questions I asked.
There were a few that caught them on each one and so it goes they got an early Christmas Gift.

I have seen this happen so many times. It's hysterical. And they're so serious - LOL. Well, I guess in their defense, you can say that they're sincere.
Almost all of my Q's are silly. Not only are there serious answers but also a parade of: 'gee idk' from the teeny boppers.
Then comes the opposite. Other day I asked seriously (in the COMPUTER category) as to what was wiping out my mail box. My first answer said 'someone who doesn't drive very well.'
But this is all about laughs, right?!?!
It happens all the time in my case...Always!
Certainly not. I'm as serious as a heart attack , I mind my P's and Q's, dot my I's, cross my T's, and I never say anything absurd unless it's absolutely necassary.
