the happiness is what's exciting. i don't give a shiit about the gifts.
im tired of all the family drama and everybody worrying about gifts instead of having fun with there family. its turned out to be such a hallmark holiday along with valentines day and sweetest day. my siblings are fighting and no one wants to spend time together. its annyoying cause its like you have to pick and choose who to spend your time with and someone always gets left out.
not looking forward to it. am working
X-mas sucks!!! There's all this pressure to spend the holiday with someone, for those of us that can't spend the day with the person we love it hurts!!! And if your not very well off and can't get your kids a zillion gifts then you feel like s***! It's awful!

the singing,
decorating,
celebrating with friends and family,
baking,
smells in the air,
mistletoe,
stockings,
sitting around the fire,
hot cocoa,
Christmas parties,
dressing up,
snow,
cards,
recieving things,
giving things,
building a snowman,
skiing/snowboarding,
the movies new and old...
There is so much to be excited for..how can you not be?
It's lost it's meaning and has become about the shopping and gifts. I don't get excited about it anymore, I just wish we would all remember the reason for the season.

I agree it comes and goes so quickly and its not worht all the hype i do like the food and festive mood though
um.. i am kinda excited for christmas like i can't wait to get my gifts, but thats about it like i am not doing anything super exciting on christmas.

I'm not excited at all, it has lost it's magic mening for me. I used to expect it unpatiently when I was a child, but now it's just a reason to stay at home and to sleep a little more. I still buy presents for my friends and relatives, but it's just a sort of tradition, I don't care about buying Xmas trees and stuff...
