Question: someone on your contact list.. a yahoo member.. was accusing you of giving them thumbs down for their answers? also accusing you of giving their friends thumbs down and taking it very seriously. For instance blaming you when you didnt do it, calling you names.. for a thumbs down. Is that sad, pathetic or do they take yahoo answers too seriously? Do you think this person could really believe I did that and be upset about it or do you think its an excuse to bully me?

They take Yahoo Answers too seriously. Maybe they don't have a life outside of Yahoo.
I don't care if I get thumbs down. It doesn't bother me one bit. I already know some people in the world are going to disagree with me and give me thumbs down for some of my answers, but I'm glad for that because it would be a boring world if everyone had the same opinion.

If they are a friend, then they would not do such things to you. As such, screw them over for saying terrible things about you. Don't let them feel good about themselves at your expense.

I would think "what an idiot" this contact person is. If this person is all that bent out of shape over something you didn't do, you might want to reconsider keeping that person as a contact etc. He/she obviously believes you did do this thing or he/she wouldn't be accusing you of the same. Tell them the truth and move on. Life's too short to be drawn into such drama. Lastly, so what if you did give thumbs down, that's your right. You're entitld to your opinion -particularly here!
