Stooge has invested all of his money into building a star craft that can easily make it to the moon. It sits in a clearing beside a modest A-frame cabin in the western mountains of the High Sierra. Stooge and Moonita climb aboard their spacecraft. They buckle in, Stooge being kind enough to fasten the safety belt across Moonbeam's ample bosom. Stooge puts the hover thrusters at full power and the world below shrinks into what appears to be a Google Earth map. Engaging main thrusters, Stooge and Moonita are propelled into orbit at an escape velocity of 7,500 kilometers per second. A little tweaking of the onboard computer and the time for max burn is calculated. Viewing the cloud tops over Australia while holding hands, Stooge once again engages the main thrusters and a trajectory is imaged on the computer screens that will point them straight toward the Taurus Littrow region on the moon.
This is SO romantic.
