Do you ever let anyone down...just by being you...?!

Question: Yeah, my whole family, I guess. And my ex-wife. But my son and the cat still love me...

Answers: Yeah, my whole family, I guess. And my ex-wife. But my son and the cat still love me...

from what they tell me, yes. my ex, especially.

Not unless I am depressed.

I used to all the time, that is why i am now in the middle of a divorce

Apparently so..

Oh,yes. I am not perfect but am expected to be.

I'm sure I do but the people that I care about love me no matter what.

People want me to change all the time and be something I am not. I've been called a doormat many times by a very good friend. Why should I change who I am just to fit everyone else's standard of what they think my life should be. I am happy being me...

Great question. Yes, I do- my sister.

I agree with Deb. I am in a huge group of friends and they Idolise me, so i am expected to be perfect. But im not... no one is....

Only if they were counting on a miserable humdrum bleak Billless existence, in which case they deserve the attitude adjustment.

I am more than sure that answer is, yes. I can't be everything to everyone regardless how hard I may try.

Yes. I am not very outgoing and social, so I just don't run all over laughing and talking with people.

Don't get me wrong, I love people and always try to help if I can... I just despise small talk. If the conversation is going to be about something, fine, but just standing around chit-chatting makes me feel nervous and jumpy.

So people get let down when they expect me to carry my half of a meaningless conversation.

I'm sure I do. I know I disappointed my family when I decided to follow my dream and come to the us to pursue my career when they had other plans for me. But they love me anyway and welcome me back whenever I come home.
