I do! I think more people should. It only takes an extra 30-45 seconds to measure out, and grind fresh beans, and it tastes soo much better!

And if those people think the smell of brewing coffee is great, they should smell the freshly ground coffee...

I dont,but my Mother used to do it when i was a Child.
It was a lovely smell.
She did it with a Kaffeemühle(sorry,but i dont know the Word in english.

Yes...nothing fresher! I also throw a piece of bread in the grinder..grind it up and it cleans the grinder so I can use it to grind spices for a dry rub...much better then stale mix rubs you buy.
