Why do they put repeats on TV over Christmas?!

Probably because not many people are bothered with T.V on Christmas, apart from the Doctor Who special :)
because they have no creative side to their brains.

This way they only need to employ some lowely video tape changers and everyone else can go home for Christmas.
Simple as that.
because they are seen as clasics that all the family will love
because the actors are at home spending Christmas with their families and stuff
because as a nation we're very weak and pay our licence fee to watch complete garbage.
and then to get extra channels, we pay for it all over again.
madness really.
On Christmas day, I'll be watching the special with Clay Aiken on NBC at 2:30 EST.
