My husband and I have our own 'new tradition' ... we get FAR TOO FULL if we have hors d'oeuvres and a big holiday dinner. We go out for dinner (Chinese this year with Peking Duck) for Thanksgiving and we'll have JUST THE HORS D'OEUVRES for our 'dinner' on Christmas. If you feel sorry for us, you don't have to ... home-made clam dip, home-made crab dip (plus chips, of course), fresh crudites (carrots, celery, olives, tomatoes, and cucumber), and the piece de resistance ... roasted breaded oysters wrapped in bacon. YUM. Neither of us like turkey and we can eat rib roast any time ... so we will 'indulge ourselves' all by ourselves ... but I hope that, however you spend Christmas, you have a VERY MERRY DAY and a HAPPY NEW YEAR.

laulau, kalua pig, poi, lomi salmon, and finish with some dee-ricious haupia!!

C**k-a-leekie soup; Haggis Wi'Bashed Neeps an' Chappit Tatties; Clootie Dumpling; Athol Brose; Mackenzies Bannocks and Coffee.
