If it was over nothing, I would be really upset but would try to find out why he thought about that in the heat of the moment.
He might have just wanted to hurt you - My ex bought me a Louis vouitton bag and when ever we argued he said I used to walk out with my bag and not give a damn - so he tore it to shreds one day when we argued.
