Why do women always say always, when we men know that is NOT the case?!

Question: It is extremely annoying. For example, when a lady says you are always late. But you know you are not always late, sometimes you are, sometimes you are on time or early. But when they get angry, they trot out the old tired, worn out "You are always" routine.

Do you women really think it makes us men appreciate the reason why you are angry more? Does it make us want to change when you exaggerate? Or does it mostly start a fight?

I never heard such a question. I have nothing to say. Speaking in absolutes always gets me in trouble...

or

"I seldom hear such questions. I have little to add. Speaking in absolutes sometimes makes me sound silly."

My wife is the queen of always...and never...I hate it!! lol

Sometimes men underexagerate...and really they do do things alot..but yes yes I'm guilty of the always thing to..and we are just trying to get a rise out of you and get a fight started!! =D

I know they ALWAYS do THAT

men say always alot too

Oh my gosh - men say the same thing! It's just a figure of speech. Lighten up

Because men are ALWAYS screwing up, lol. Nah, just messing with you. But seriously not all women do that. I guess it's just easy sometimes to exagerate when you're angry.

I'm guilty of doing that. I guess I never realized it until now. I will try to cut back on it.

you have right...

My fiance says I'm always on yahoo.....

I don't say that he's always something unless it's good ^_^

It's just cause we're frustrated. And it's not just women, guys do it too.
It's not a routine, it's a way of speaking when you're fed up.

I'm 100% sure that women aren't the only ones who do it. Men do it too. My boyfriend 'always' does it to me too....

Why are your questions ALWAYS so long?

Seriously - Yes I admit my husband gets the "always"and "never" remarks. My only explanation is that women see things in absolutes, things are black and white.

So being late one time, says to us that you will be late every single time you come home from now on.

That's all I got. Good luck understanding women. :)

But men say things ,too. So, we could ask the same question. Why do you guys continue to say things over and over. My husband likes to say, " Now pay attention". For some odd reason, he doesn't think I can be doing something and listen to him at the same time.

We're talking a two way street here.

I've heard the you are always from a past significant other so much it makes me want to throw up.
We're all Guilty as charged!

Guess we think that we hafta say something wether its always right or not..I dont know if I say that or not..Stick up for yourself..

I don't Always say that or do I? Now look I am starting to think about it. Love, honey

Men say it too and yes, it's annoying
