Did anyone give there embryo a name whilst it was in the womb?!

Question: or was it "it" the" baby " or did you have a nickname for it before you found out its sex and then used the name you chose for the child.
i was in a waiting room with loads of preggers woman and they was all puzzled when i asked.
i was waiting for a blood test just in case you were wondering

before i knew the sex i called it 'baby'...then after i found out the sex i called her 'camille' :)

right now it is " baby", since we don't know if it's a boy or a girl

My husband called my bump Belly Monster.... we sometimes call her it when she's naughty but most of the time we just call her Freyja!

We called our first son "Peanut" (until he was born) because he looked like a peanut ("monkey nut") on his first scan (he had a very early scan, for various reasons).

yeah my friends did. they are 6 months along and already picked the name. i think that is a bad idea just in case something bad happens.

With my 1st it was just baby, but with my second, as soon as we found out it was a boy we started calling him jake as that is what we were to name him, that way our first (daughter) got used to the name too

We called our youngest son Twemlow! I don't know where that came from it just seemed appropriate!

call it fred and you can change it to freda if its a girl.

we call it "feety" for fetus. When it was younger we called it "embry" for well, you know.

Our second kid was known as 'Squirmy' from about six months until she was born, 'cause [she, as it turned out!] never seemed to stop wriggling. :-D

A cousin of mine called the first Peanut and the second Spud.

I did give each one of my kids a name when I was pregnant with them. The first one was Alien. the second one was Oh **** not again. and the third one was Princess because I was positive that I was having a girl the last time.

You can just pick out a boy's name and a girl's name that you like.
But before one of my cousins was born, my aunt really wanted to have a baby named Samantha. Well, the first time she held her little baby daughter, she took one look at her and said, "That's not a Samantha...." Hence, cousin Maryanne.

yes i had names picked out while i was pregnant only girl names cause i just knew i was having girls. and back then you couldn't find out the sex you just had to wait and see.

No.My midwife told me I was having a boy(even though I told her I didnt want to know).I was thinking of naming him after his dad until SHE was born.
