Mother and Son reunite at Lowe's...?!

Question: after his long search for his real mother, turns out they both work at the same Lowe's!! Seems like there would be some resentment there, you know, with the whole gave him up thing! But they are together and happy! It's a great story, but how would you feel? What would be your first reaction and questions to your real mother whom you had never met???

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

I would probably understand that she gave me up to give me a better future since she couldn't take care of me properly. I would be happy to meet her and I would ask what the circumstances were that she gave me up and ask about my family and who my dad is.

I just read this news a moment ago! Haha, they must have been very lucky. I agree with them, "A very good Christmas present". I would be thrilled if I never saw my real mother and found her working in the same company.

Are you sure it wasn't Market Basket? When I walk in that store I always see reunions.

Luckily for me, my parents kept and raised me. But I think if that were my situation I would be happy to see her. People have circumstances all the time that affect their life and decisions. We shouldn't jump to conclusions and think they deliberately left us. I would actually want to know more about what happened and try to understand the situation, rather than make it worse and put the blame on someone else.

it seems he never held on resentment and really understood why she had to do it.

That's awesome and proves the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Most mothers who give their babies up for adoption do so because they love them and want a better life for them - it is an act of love. Keeping a baby that you are unable to care for, that is selfish.
