Do you think it's crazy for a person to walk 20 miles, without taking shortc!

Question: not so much...
people have walked farther than that
although its a bit surreal
i find that to show a trait of
perseverance and endurance
just as long as the walking doesnt interfer with anything else
(family, life, etc...)

Heck ya!

No its called being a Marine! Hoah!

depends on why they are walking.
i don't think it is crazy

hey. its a good exercize. sounds like this person has some strong legs. maybe a little strange.

not if they're trying to slim down

Not any more crazier than a surfer taking on a 80 ft. tsunami wave.....you sound fairly normal. Be sure to keep gel insoles handy in them shoes, OK?

it'd take a long time and it'd be tiring!!!!!!! on the other hand,it is good to exercise so i dunno. maybe i guess

I do it all the time, it's called hiking.

Too much walking for a begginer who hasn't worked up to it.

yea. i have, but i had no other choice.

No, I've done it twice. It's fun.

No, not if they are healthy enough to do so. Why take short cuts if they're not in a rush?

we marines dont say "hoah" we say oo-rah.... and 20 miles is a mean hike.

Yes, as it would take all day to do so

no i don't

even if it's a shortcut, you still walk 20 miles... got it?

no....great workout session

Depends, why are they walking, and why aren't they taking short cuts?

If your walking for the fun of walking, then just keep on walkin'.

Each to their own right?

Don't you think it's crazy "to" take shortcuts. If you take a shortcut while walking 20 miles, have you still walked 20 miles?

I think it is crazy to think you could take shortcuts on a 20 mile walk...seems to defeat the purpose.

No, but I think it's crazy when a person has been hit by a truck and has a sprained back and the doctor can see on the chart that she's a 'power walker' who walks AT LEAST 26 miles a day to tell the patient to 'walk a little more' to feel better. So I walked over 30 miles the next day, until I couldn't walk any more, and had to spend the next three weeks flat on my back (I had four kids, too!) and all the doctor said when they saw me was that I should have 'known' that 'walking a little more' meant walking a mile instead of half a mile. Excuse me, but power walkers are used to walking 26 miles a day (at a fast pace, too) so WHY would the doctor think that 'I knew' not to walk MORE THAN 26 MILES AT MY USUAL FAST PACE? By the way, the man who had hit me with his truck (I stood but got pushed around the corner) was convicted and told to 'pay my hospital expenses.' He never did, and I would have to 'sue him in civil court' to get the expenses paid. THAT is CRAZY ... but if you take 'shortcuts' you don't walk 20 miles ... you walk LESS THAN 20 MILES.
