Do you still live in the same town you were raised in?!

Question: No, and I feel sorry for all the people I know who do. Many of them never left, so have nothing to compare it to. I do not understand this myself.

Family is important and all, but to never live somewhere else to see if it fits you better and give you something to compare your hometown to in this day and age seems insecure and limited.

No, about a half hour away..

no, but i have relatives who do

I still live in the house my parents bought when I was 9 years old. I know the history of houses all over the neighborhood.

no but right next store

Unfortunately, yes, I do.

Even worse, I still live in the same neighborhood next to the same people I've lived by since I was 6 or 7 years old... There's been a couple changes over the years, some have moved and others swarmed in to replace them and there are 3 or 4 new houses but nothing substantial enough to make me forget that I never left this area...

yep i sure do! im not liking it!! its a hole!!

No, I'm about 20 miles away..

No...but if I didn't get married I'd probably still be there.

I moved from Madison, WI to Chicago almost 20 years and and so happy I did!

Rochester, NY.

When I leave work today, I will drive past my kindergarten, elementary, middle, and high school, college, the hospital I was born in, and the church I got married in on my way home.

It's a half hour drive.

No, not anymore, but I did up until 4 years ago. I am a long way from home now. Upstate NY...I miss it so much...all my friends are still there.

i live about 15 mins away from my grandma's house, that's where i grew up?

nope

ugh... don't remind me.... i can't wait to get out of here! lol
