I have a daisy chain on my ankle, I love it. Yes it hurt, but not unbearable, think about what you want for a least a year and if you don't change your mind, go for it! It's also a good idea to get an airbrushed version and see if it's what you truly want. Good Luck!

i have over 24 and getting 2 new this Christmas as a gift from my kidds , they tell a story of things that happen in my life ,like my kidds my wife ,my grand kids ,surviving the 911 attracts ,{i worked at the trade center } all sort of reasons .....but do i regret them no. i have been getting them for over 20 years.....and every one is taste full ,,,,not blood and bones ,,,,nothing like that. you want to get one then do it ,,,,, it is your body and it doesn't hurt ,about like a bee sting.

i have the quote from my dad's grave on my foot. It looks elegant, not trashy like a lot of tattoos. It hurt a little since the foot is pretty bony, and no i dont regret getting it because i got it in a place where i could cover it up if i had to.
I have one of princess Zelda on my back. When I was 3 yrs. old my brother passed away, but him playing Zelda was one thing that I remember him doing. No I don't regret it.

My husband and I both got tattoos last year when I was 30 years old. We got a Claddagh, which is an Irish symbol of love, friendship, and loyalty. It runs across the top of my back between my shoulder blades. I can choose to let others see it, but for the most part it is hidden. I wanted to get a tattoo when I was younger, but could not think of anything that was meaningful enough to carry around with me for the rest of my life.
To answer your question about the pain . . . yes, it does hurt. No way around that. Felt like someone was digging out splinters in my back for 2 1/2 hours - only 3x worse than that.
I do not regret it at all. I am already considering a next one.
