Am I the only one who feels bad for that bear killed by the 5 y/o?!
Question: in Arkansas? I'm not an anti hunting person but if you're going to kill it I think it should be for food. I don't think they ate that bear and there's not a problem with overpopulation. They weren't in fear of their lives cause they set a trap (honey and stuff) to lure him there.

omg that's terrible =[ I'm totally anti-hunting and everything! I don't think anybody should kill anything even if it's just a fly. Why would anybody kill as a game? In a game both sides should know that they're playing. That bear did nothing to deserve this. Just think about it....those people who killed it get one simple thrill out of the game but that bear is gone....he can never come back. He'll never see his family again. Do you think that's fair? I think that's terrible!

I am not a hunting fan, but at least most do eat what they kill.
To kill an animal just for sport is barbaric. And to involve a 5yr old child is terrrible.
I read about that on the news, I can't judge on the exact situation- but a bear is very dangerous. The focus was on the fact that the boy 's 10th great-grandfather was Davy Crockett. Davy killed a bear when he was just three and the news is saying basically how he is the only one to shoot a bear at that age since Davy did. My concern would be about him having a gun at that age. One day he has to go to school.
