There's helping others without their knowledge, which can be good, or helping them in a non-patronising way. I answered a question in the senior Q&A about an elderly lady who was reduced to tears and very upset after she was given a gift certificate in a store, she thought, that it was because she looked elderly and frail, this kind of 'help' by the store was patronising and not the sort of help that I'd feel fuzzy about, so it all depends on the persons motives, are they helping to fulfil their own needs? If you can honestly answer that question, then that's good help.

i love to help others, especially in my college with peoples work because sometimes people don't like to ask the teacher because even though they explain it a few times it doesn't sink it and people feel embarrassed asking again but asking a friend and getting help from them seems much comfort abler and i like to be that person

If I can use my brain to help others, then there I am. Now, if I were in business, I would be rich. I sincerely enjoy helping others especially when they are too "shy" to speak up for themselves. It gives me a "warm" feeling inside.
