That's one way of looking at it. I always thought "depression" was a profound saddness or a focus on depressing things.
I suppose in some cases? Lately I have been depressed, and very enthusiastic about what I am angry at.... But, it depends 'what' you are talking about, and what kind of depression it is..... In terms of broad generalizations though, I would say that is one of the broadest...
As a clinically depressed person, I do not see it that way.
