"Love may be blind, but marriage is a real eye-opener." Agree or Disag!

Question: I've seen marriage ruin many beautiful friendships....

I'm never getting married again. I'm going to find a woman who hates me, then buy her a house.

The only difference between a wedding and a funeral is at the wedding you smell your own flowers.

you fall in love, but you get married, you don't fall into marriage, right?

Disagree...
My mother and father were together for 15 years, they got married 3 months ago and nothings changed.
We still argue and have bad days, we have fun days or lazy days, when we wear our pyjamas all day and watch films [Exept my father wears clothes]

Id love them even if they were ugly. =]

definately agree. everything is roses before and once the ring is on things change. my first marriage sweet before the vows abuser after.

Agree!!!

Marriage is a real KILLER of love.

Disagree. My husband and I have been married four years. Nothing has changed in our relationship except maybe that we are closer than we were before.

Agree.

I somewhat agree with that statement. When you fall in love, you tend to do it "blindly"... but when it comes to getting married, you think a bit more seriously because it's about spending your life with the partner and whatever "mistakes" u have made in falling in love come dancing before your eyes warning u not to repeat them again.

In love, you can learn and rehearse but marriage is the final act. If you rehearse in marriage, you end up rehearsing all your life again and again...

Sounds like you have 20/20 vision :)

More than you could possibly ever imagine....
Good Morning Sunshine!
Peace.

Hi totally couldn't agree more hugs

Naa. You may be blinded at first when you fall or are attacted to that someone, but over time if the foundation is there, you work at "love" (being a verb that requires action) and marriage is the cement of that commitment.

I agree ... Marriage is like a marathon race and not a sprint. There is lots to see along the course, but you must stay focused. You will go up and down hill's, but will you stay on pace. It's so easy to bail on a situation while running uphill. I did, and I wish I stuck around to coast down the other side.

Agree!
