Why do the people from the UK hate Americans?!
Question: I don't think we hate you, at least I don't and never have. My daughter was studying there for a few months, she said it was obvious that Americans were not very well liked.

Don't worry how others feel about us Jan. Around the world people rail against us but they are cowards. Look at the people who shake their fists at us. Hugo Chavez, Hezbollah, Putin, Iran, North Korea...and the list goes on. When you don't take a stand against people who abuse others your just as bad as they are.
There are a lot of people in the UK and around the world who would trade their FREEDOM for safety. They are afraid of standing up against the bad people in the world because it might it might hurt. Who cares if the craven cowards don't like us. One day they will wake up to the vipers they have in their home and all their freedoms will be gone....and it will be too late.
We Americans are disliked in many realms.

The same reason all people hate....... lack of knowledge and understanding. Truth is we all just want to be left alone and raise our families in peace, but when others have different values than we do it promotes fear because no one likes the unknown

I don't like Americans much well individuals some I love of course and so it's bad to generalise but you have some crazy people and whacked-out politicians and a lot of your ppl know nothing about other countries & cultures and what is with the gun crazy stuff??
