Question: Is it weird if I buy my dad a subscription to Playboy for Christmas? He wanted a subscription to Time magazine, but I mean...would it be weird if I got him something he may enjoy more? I live in a different place than him and am an adult....so I'm trying to be nice....not creepy....

No get him the gift he wanted. It would be overstepping the line to buy him what you want. Think about the relationship you want with him. If you love him then don't get him the Playboy subscription as this would violate the father/daughter bond. I know you might mean well but it just doesn't sound right. :)
Nope, if he enjoys that publication, then by all means, give him the bleached-blonde silicone injected gift that keeps on giving every month... There's no reason a daughter can't give her dad a subscription to a lifestyle publication. The only question would be would he like it?

I see nothing wrong with getting him Playboy if that is what he requested, but it isn't. Getting him what he wants would mean more, methinks.
First off, Playboy is not porn. If he wants Time, then by all means get him Time. I have had a subscription to Playboy for many years and have never seen any porn in it, Now Hustler and Penthouse are totally different mags,and do border on porn.
get him a girft card or a subscription to a magazine club then he can buy what ever magazine or what ever elses he want and you don't have to feel creeped out
