I guess that person in my family would be me. I like to buy usual gifts for people who have everything.
My mom. She never gets me anything good. I always have to bring it back. I'm pretty simple to buy for. I remember last year she bought me some journal that was fluffy and purple "to write my thoughts in".....oook.
Oh! Another time she bought me this BIG bulky biker jacket thing. She thought I would like it because I like wearing black.....lol

My Grandma shops at the Dollar Store and gives us all a little white trash bag full of all sorts of things. The guys always get a flannel shirt, pen set, can of nuts, box of choc covered cherries, and a few other random male oriented items. The girls always get a night gown, choc cherries, jewelry, hair items, lotions, knick knacks or Christmas items, kitchen items, and variety of female things. Every year and we sit in a circle opening our gifts, taking out one item at a time, each person at a time. (eyes rolling back in my head) ARGH!

Eh, not really. My Mom is pretty good at giving one present to my sister and I that we are both like "ummm...we want this why?!?"
Well my nieces and nephew are the ones who do that but thy're young so they buy things that they want for you .... It's kind of cute but useless.
