Isn't it scary how like no kids read anymore?!
Question: I know that its always like that but whenever you go to someones myspace or youtube or whatever of a kid when its there interests and it says books they always say "omg ewwwwww I hate reading" and I know that lots of kids read Harry Potter and other books but still most say they hate reading and thats creepy because the future of the world is all going to be stupid people because no one will know how to read.

Omg I agree! But I have always loved reading. I love the classics, and sometimes I just don't get people that hate reading! it's like, they're just books, nothing to be afraid of! besides, even though there's all this internet rage now, books are still more beautiful. words that came from one's mind, typed onto a page...not to mention it was made from a tree, and it can be passed around by hand! (not by high speed electrical impulses)
so they are ideas printed on trees, and not much is more beautiful than that :)
Sad isn't it, I hope they figure all this out before they become adults.

Definitely. We really need to do something about it. Parents and teachers should encourage reading and buy more books for the children. Children should be exposed to books as soon as possible.
